Terms of Service

Updated October 27, 2026

By creating or using a Konpiko account, you agree to follow these Terms of Service. Konpiko may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules.

Konpiko is for people aged 13 and older. You must accept these Terms of Service before uploading, commenting or messaging. Advertising is currently disabled.

Section 1 - Behavior Agreement

Konpiko is intended to be a community where people can share videos without abusing or endangering others. You agree not to use Konpiko for:

Racist behavior: content or conduct that attacks, degrades, threatens, or promotes hatred or discrimination against people because of race or ethnicity.

Sexually harmful behavior: sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, coercive or non-consensual sexual conduct, or sexual content involving minors.

Bullying and harassment: targeted abuse, intimidation, threats, stalking, repeated unwanted contact, or publishing private information to harass another person.

Violent behavior: credible threats, incitement to violence, or using Konpiko to plan, encourage, or facilitate violence against another person.

Section 2 - Copyright and Fair Use

Konpiko respects United States federal copyright law, including Title 17 of the United States Code. You may not upload, reproduce, distribute, display, or otherwise share copyrighted material unless you own the necessary rights, have permission or a valid license, the material is in the public domain, or the use is otherwise permitted by law.

Fair use under 17 U.S.C. § 107 can permit certain uses of copyrighted material without permission, including in some circumstances criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research. Fair use is determined case by case and is not automatic merely because a user gives credit, uses only part of a work, or does not make money from it.

Uploading copyrighted movies, television programs, music, videos, recordings, images, or other protected works without authorization or a lawful exception such as fair use is prohibited. Konpiko may remove material believed to infringe copyright and may restrict accounts responsible for repeated infringement.

Section 3 - Pornographic and Explicit Real-World Violence Content

Konpiko prohibits pornographic content. This includes material whose primary purpose is to depict explicit sexual acts or explicit sexual activity.

Konpiko also prohibits graphic or explicit depictions of real-world violence, including actual death, severe bodily injury, torture, mutilation, or comparable real-world gore. Non-graphic discussion of violent events is not automatically prohibited by this section, but explicit real-world violent imagery is not allowed.

Section 4 - Speech and Safety

What you can share

Profanity, satire, lawful political views, criticism, humor, and unpopular opinions are welcome. None is automatically downranked because of a word or viewpoint.

What is not permitted

Credible threats, targeted harassment, nonconsensual intimate content, doxxing, unlawful material, scams, and copyright infringement are prohibited. Child-safety protections are set out in Section 5.

Section 5 - Child Safety

Child sexual abuse material, grooming, sextortion, sexual solicitation or exploitation of minors, trafficking, and sexualized depictions of children, including generated content, are prohibited. Attempts to arrange, encourage or facilitate abuse are also prohibited.

Use Report - Child safety on a video, comment or message, or Settings - Help and safety - Child safety to contact staff. Explain the concern or report the item; do not download, re-upload or send illegal material as evidence. Child-safety reports receive priority review and escalation to the designated safety lead, including legally required reporting to the competent authority.

Membership starts at 13. Messaging requires mutual follows, and block/report controls are available in conversations. Teen personalization defaults off. Advertising remains disabled; teen behavioral ad targeting is prohibited.

Section 6 - Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how Konpiko handles accounts, messages, watch history, reports, retention and deletion. Registration is required to browse and watch. We store password hashes, not plaintext passwords. Messages are limited to participants but are not end-to-end encrypted; staff may review a specific message when a participant reports it.

Settings provides account deletion, watch-history controls, blocked-account management and sign-out controls. Use Settings - Help and safety - Privacy to contact staff about your data. See the Privacy Policy for retention periods, safety-record exceptions and the handling of advertising and sharing.

Section 7 - Content Moderation

Staff review reports with recorded reasons and appeals. Content may be removed and accounts restricted for violations of these Terms. Moderation decisions and available appeals can be reviewed in Settings - My action history and Decisions and appeals. A report alone does not establish that a violation occurred.

Konpiko uses automatic content moderation to help identify content that may need staff review. Content may be temporarily hidden while it is reviewed. An automatic hold is not a strike or permanent removal. Staff may clear or remove the content with a recorded reason, and creators can dispute moderation decisions.

Staff must consider context, permissions and applicable legal exceptions when reviewing content. Moderation decisions can be challenged through the available review and appeal process.

Section 8 - Content Theft

The copyright protections in Section 2 apply equally to creators on Konpiko, TikTok, Instagram and other platforms. Creators and other rights holders retain their rights in their work. A public post, download button or repost on another service does not by itself grant permission to upload that work to Konpiko. A license limited to another platform does not automatically extend here. You may cross-post your own work when you hold the rights needed for all included material.

Do not copy, re-upload or monetize someone else’s protected video, audio, images or other creative work without permission, a suitable license, public-domain status or an applicable legal exception. Do not falsely claim authorship, impersonate the creator, or remove or obscure credits or watermarks to misrepresent whose work it is. Giving credit, adding captions, cropping, changing speed or making another minor edit does not by itself authorize an otherwise infringing repost.

Fair use under 17 U.S.C. § 107 remains available. Criticism, commentary, parody, news reporting, teaching, scholarship or research may qualify, depending on the circumstances. The assessment considers the purpose and character of the new use, the nature of the original work, how much and how significant a portion is used, and the effect on the original work’s market or value. These factors are considered together; no fixed number of seconds or percentage guarantees fair use. Commercial use is not automatically excluded, and noncommercial use is not automatically permitted. Permission is not required when fair use or another applicable legal exception authorizes the use.

Rights holders or their authorized representatives can use Report - Copyright or Settings - Help and safety - Copyright. Identify the original work, the reported upload, your authority to raise the concern and relevant permissions or context. Users may explain a license, ownership or fair-use basis when disputing a removal through the available appeal process. Staff should consider those explanations before deciding; Konpiko’s moderation review is not a court ruling. Repeated infringement may lead to account restrictions. Do not use knowingly false copyright claims to suppress lawful criticism or another creator’s work.
